The focus of this podcast will be to highlight the programs & initiatives having a positive impact in communities all across America, encouraging others to get involved and providing a roadmap for other locales who want to replicate these efforts.
These success stories provide a foundation for a new type of politics, outside the small box within which a special-interest controlled government & media encourages vigorous debate. We will expand that box and imagine a government guided by the principle of Equality of Opportunity.
Equality of Opportunity is nothing less than the ideal upon which this country is built. The American Dream is not every person for themselves, nor is it a government that provides for all your needs. Rather, it is the idea that any person can raise themselves up to the highest station by virtue of their own hard work.
Sadly, that dream is failing.
It is not even really part of the conversation.
...but it absolutely should be.

In the coming months, this podcast will explore the following questions:
What would true Equality of Opportunity entail?
What are the impediments in place which prevent genuine Equality of Opportunity?
What must be we do to overcome these impediments and make Equality of Opportunity a reality for most Americans?
